Position Summary

Haygor Instrument & Company is seeking an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components by reading blueprints, setting up materials, and performing high-quality welds using a variety of welding techniques. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision workmanship and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Set up and prepare materials for welding operations.
• Perform manual and semi-automatic welding on metal components.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity.
• Repair and fabricate metal parts as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years of welding experience preferred.
• Experience with TIG, MMA, and other welding processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Professional welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
